KIE published a report about Iraqi Provincial Council Elections

On 20th April 2013 Iraqi Provincial Elections were held, we as KIE, the scope of our monitoring could only cover Sulaymaniyah Province. Two polling centres were opened in Sulaymaniyah for early private voting and 8 polling centres for normal general voting. These polling centres were opened for those Iraqi citizens who were displaced from their provinces after April 9th 2003 and have resided in one of the three provinces constituting Kurdistan Region. The sum of all voters registered in Voter Registration Form for both early and normal voting in Sulaymaniyah province was 3461 voters and of that number only 638 people voted, hence voters turnout was %18.4.
